They are very striking - I'm not sure I like them though. They seem to be designed to be pieces of decoration rather than as environments for fish. All the reefs/corals are synthetic and seem very bright. Or maybe I'm just jealous...

I don't think they are edited but the reefs look a bit too packed full to me(some of the reefs are actually ornements which i have seen for sale before), having open spaces in your tanks can look very good and help lower agressive confrontation between many fish species- the aquarium bar is very cool though !
On a personal note though i don't realy like the much of the wooden funiture/stands- they would be better if the stands were lighter colored, more simplistic and took up less space as so to help make the tanks stand out as more of the main feature, but thats just my opinion .

the tanks look as though they've had their picture taken and then transplanted into those cabinets by photo-editing software. there is absolutely no reflection in the glass, and pictures with that sort of definition would show that. also, look at the picture with the TV- the screen is fake. TV's don't look like that in pictures, no matter if it's CRT or LCD.

ha ha, i was looking at those pics thinking "i dont like those tanks" i thought i'd better keep the reply to myself, then i read the rest of your replies! kudos for the sheer size and cabinet design etc you gotta admit theyre impressive but the contents does nothing for me at all. Way too bright (colour wise and they all look kinda the same). he'd be more than welcome to make a tank for my house but i think i'd do the filling myself.

+ the fact that most of those tanks would be compleltly inaccessable for maintanence, people who have these types of tanks aren't bothered about the fish or welfare of, they would probably employ someone to do all the hardwork for them..

i like the mangrove swamp tank. that's about it.

i have seen the one in the rainforest cafe in animal kingdom. those tanks would be alright without the fake coral. although most of those tanks couldn't have real corals due to their shapes.
i have been to the breakers and dont remember seeing the "aquarium bar" i guess there aren't fish in there. doesn't seem practical.

and i'd hate to have to do maintenance on one of those...

I actully think those pictures are real. You can to get tanks and tv's to look like that?
How do you think all those tv manafactuerers showed their product? Surely all of them we not edited.
Also, fo the tanks, their is such thing as using lamps and stuff to make the lighting conditions perfect, so they dont have to use a flash. Just like how they take our pictures at school. If they just used a normal flash...we'd look.....scary.....I mean, more than we already do, lol....

As for the corals, I'd much rather prefer real ones. I would not pay 10k for a reef tank, and get a fake one in its place...

well i actually have to agree and think those pictures are photo edited, they just dont look real to me and i cant say i am over impressed with the fake coral etc, now tanks that size set up by me with my arrowana etc in i could die for.
