....an arcadia arc 20 litre for 1 male betta, 1 apple snail and 3-4 cherry shrimp with live plants and moss ball.

any thoughts or suggestions?

I have an Arc Arcadia, i just have my betta Jack in it, he wont allow anything else in there!!!

what else have you tried in there?

how much was your arc?

Does anyone have any tank pics of bettas with shrimp/apple snail?

It cost £39.99 from a local pet shop called Creature Comforts, there are online but cost a bit more.
I tried a little frog, he bit one of his toes off (it grew back!!)
I tried peppered corys, he bit their tails
I then discovered some little snails that mush have hitch hiked on the plants and he knockeds them off the side of the tank them chases them as they fall.
Its HIS tank & nothing is allowed in there!!!

may it have been different if he was last in there?

Possibly, although i think its in his nature, he flares at everything that goes near the tank, even Luke my other half!!
My other betta who is 6 mths old is more tolerant, he had corys in with him & little snails, they have been moved to my community tank at the moment tho as he is not very well.

i think 1 would be ok if you get the snails and shrimps but if you dont yh 2 would be ok.

they dont mind and im not sure if they would eat shrimp ive never kept them.

apple snails wont eat shrimp - the betta wont eat the shrimp if you give the shrimp enough places to hide - i have shrimp in all my betta tanks and apple snails

I had 2 shrimp in my community tank, i put 2 ADF in & now i have no shrimp!!

i've also been thinking...in addition to the stocking already suggested could i add some pygmy corries and maybe instead of the apple snail a pair of oto's? may change the tank i'm after to the aquastart 320 28l which i think is 5-6 gallon

make sure none of your meds have copper in them. copper = dead shrimp/snails.
