Wow. On ebay, you can get 500 snails for around 50 bucks delivered. I don't know if my shrimp would know what to do with 500 snails. They also have pretty good deals on hermits there, to add some variety to his life.

Would MH lights be worth it on a 10 gal? Or can you keep pretty much the same corals under PC as MH in a 10 gallon tank. I would be worried about the MH overheating my tank, especially because I live in florida.

No need to put MH on a 10g imo... The water is shallow enough for PCs to be sufficient for just about any corals

Yes you can keep sps and clams under PCs in such a shallow tank. I have seen plenty of them thriving in nano cube dx models.

Does anyone know if "olive nerite snails" will survive in salt water? I live on a brackish river that I could get 100 of them in about 5 minutes if I went wading. It would make keeping him fed insanely easy and cheap for me.
