I have had my 29 gallon planted tank set up for a bit, its nothing special cause i'm a newbie... at the moment i already have 2 plecos one is about 3 inches and the other is about 4 or 5 inches. I also have 2 mollys and 1 rainbow fish in there.
I went to the pet store last night and saw some guppies i really want to get, i think i might get about 4 of them.
I want one more type of fish thats none-aggressive, but I don't know what to get... so maybe you guys could give me a couple ideas, please? Thanks!

What type of Plecos have you got? Some can grow to quite a size and they are also big waste producers so good filtration is required.
As far as I know, Rainbow fish prefer to be in groups of at least 5-6 so might be worth getting a few more.
I've no experience with Mollies but hopefully someone else may help you out there.
Guppies are great fish but need to be kept 1 male to 2 females, only trouble is they breed a lot! You could try a group of 5 males if you don't want any babies.

I have just the regular pleco.
Hmm.. maybe i should get another rainbow or something.

When you say regular Pleco do you mean Bristlenose or Common?
I'd definitely get some more Rainbows, they will be happier in a group and you don't want your single one getting lonely!

get more rainbows deffo look stunnin in a group get rid of 1 of the plecos thats if there bn's if commons both of them and get 4 ottos and stuff the guppies their naf oh and get a red tail black shark

If it's a Common Pleco then it will need rehoming as they will grow too large for the tank. If it's a Bristlenose, then it will be fine as they only grow up to 6".

I don't really know witch kind of pleco it is.. it might be common but they haven't grown much since i got them about a year and a half ago.

I think it's a Sailfin Pleco and that being the case it has the potential to reach 18". I'm afraid he will either need rehoming or you'll need to have a tank of at least 5' x 2' x 2' to put him in. :/

My brother is going to be getting an 80 gallon tank.. do you think i put them in his tank with his turtle? The turtles are really nice and leave the fish in the tank now alone.

The turtles are probably enough bioload for the 80g and I would not suggest adding it to that tank. I would return it to the pet store. For fish, I think you should get a gourami. One of my favorites are pearl gouramis. I would get one of them and add to the rainbowfish.

Ok well anyways.. thanks for all the help.

Does anyone know anything about Mollys?!

Mollys need to be in a ratio of 2/3 females to 1 male. So if you have a male and a female I would reccomend getting 2 more femles.

orange shark

I was wondering about the molly's because a while back ago i bought 2 of them and i guess i got a male and a female cause i ended up with a baby fry. The female died after giving birth... now the little fry is almost full grown and she looks pregnant (isnt that bad if its by its own dad?).. and her dad thats the only other molly in there with her keeps chasing her over to the left back corner and when she trys to come out he chases her back there again.. They never used to do this before, they used to be so peaceful. I haven't added any new fish or messed with the tank either.
