Thinking About Cichlids

Ok, then i will start shopping around for a 50 gallon, or those tanganyika ones suggested. Any other info i might need?

I'll elaborate before anyone whips out their Lifetime membership badge to PETA...

Living out in the country a cat of ours was hit by a car, broke his back, crushed a front leg, extreme pain i'm talking about, so I grabbed my hand gun and put him out of his misery.

Good for you, I would have done the same thing.
But PETA, yeech, they are the worst thing that could happen to an animal, didn't you hear they were "allegedly" killing animals instead of finding them new homes, because it was cheaper.

nooooo!!!!

explain, or send a pm so we dont tick off a Mod...
It was in the US, a while ago, I can't remember details but it was on another forum I frequent!!
They were putting dogs and cats in bags and smashing them against walls from what I can remember, not very nice from an organisation thats supposed to care for animals is it?

As for ticking off mods, i'm not bothered about that, there are plenty other forums out there which are just as good as this one!!

a silent agreement from me! so small it may not be noticed.

I AGREE WITH YOU! I CANT SEEM TO SHOUT LOUD LIKE MAMAFISH. LOL

To the original poster:

I recently set up a 15 gal (24x12x12) for Shell dwellers (Neolamprologus multifasciatus). If you can find some you will not be disappointed. They are very entertaining little fish and great for a small tank.
