Never heard of the stuff. Why not try the bio spira & add ammonia like you would a fishless cycle for 24 hours to see if it's working before you add your fish?

If I could get Bio-spira I would! Having trouble tracking it down in Aus. though.
I`ve already got this other stuff, I`ll let you know how it tests out...
