Well, this afternoon I realized just how deep Ive fallen into the fish obsession. I sold my favorite revolver to pay for argonite and a lighting hood. :'( I got 300$ for it but still, it was my favorite. I do love my fish though. The clowns are just soooooo cute! What has everyone else done to let themselves know they are obsessed?

when you have several tanks running and still thinking of more.
your tanks become just that...a tank..and not a piece of furniture that looks smart
you start using 2 tier stands to save space.

Um, well, when you start planning your monthly budget around fish supplies and find that in order for your dogs to eat and to be able to get that new tank, you'll have to eat Ramen for the next month, and somehow, you're okay with that...........

Well i dug a great big hole on my livingroom floor and poured concrete in it at a depth of 10" (10ftx3ft base). I then constructed a brick base that my 220 gallon tank would sit on fromthe foundations of hte house! Becuase the tank is so large we no longer had anywhere in our livingroom to sit with the furniture we had, sooooo..... We got rid of our living room suite and purchased a new chair and 2 x2seater settees to fit in the alcoves that were remaining in the living room (3 seater setee wont fit in the alcoves).
Soooo the living room still looks like a bomb has hit it, the tank is 75% completed and the wife is still talking to me!

Err.. what else have i done recently... Oh!!! yes about 3 weeks ago i drove just shy of 1000 miles in a round trip to purchase a blue face angel
