They're Finally Here!

I've been waiting for this since the beginning of summer '05. My babies from Erica (splashluff) are finally here!

They're floating in their baggies right now so they can get used to their new tanks, I'll probably cut them out in an hour or so. The male's Kale, the female's Akela.. I can't WAIT to spawn them in April. They're both SO gorgeous. Kale's in a 5g, Akela's in a 2g. They're both suuper anxious to get out and start exploring.

I PROMISE to take pictures as soon as they're all settled in!

Thank you SO much, Erica! (you all should adopt from her. Her babies are the most gorgeous little things ever.)

Finally got the pictures uploaded. Kale settled in right away, though Akela hasn't regained all of her color yet. They're both soo adorable!

And my little boy. I can't stop looking at this little guy, he's way cute. And I looove how tiny and BLUE he is!

And this one's probably my favorite one of him so far. I think it totally captures his personality, along with the second picture of him I posted.

I let Kale and Akela see each other for a little while and Akela got breeding stripes right away.

and Kale couldn't be happier in his 5g... in fact, he's already started blowing a nice big bubblenest!
