What with 22 fry and 10 eggs due to hatch in a few days,the main 3 adults are busy flirting with each other again...

Will you give me a shout if you decide to sell any of them when they are older, they are a beautiful cory which we dont seem to see around here

Seriously harlequins, I hope you're documenting all this. Tank stats, tempretures, diet, water change routine etc etc.

At this rate a reckon you could write the 'bible' on cory breeding.

Trouble is i don't do anything to encourage them really,tank stays around 25.5,weekly 30% w/c,temp normally matched,stats ammonia/nitrite 0,nitrate 20,ph 7.8/8.0,and the spawning doesn't normally correspond with w/c neither

So i reckon i got oddballs or they're just happy,bless them

The hard part is getting too the eggs before the greedy fish eat them

Well after their flirting i just found 6 eggs in the tank

My original 10 went down to 9 eggs after 1 being infertile.these are now hatching

Shame i lost half of my fry the other day

But heyho they just keep doing it

It just goes to show how corys respond to a carefully maintained tank and lots of good food. The conditions you keep them in must be ideal. Keep up the good work, Harlequins.

Well i didn't find any more eggs,although i did find a solo fry in the tank this morning

I'm waiting patiently for these eggs to hatch,due today,they'll probably start hatching tonight....

Low and behold put the tank lights on this evening and found another 10 eggs
