I have two smallish sized snails. I put one in the 20 gallon long 2 days ago with my lone female, and everything has been fine. I saw her nipping him though, so I moved him to the other side and distracted her with a mirror.

The second snail was getting harrassed by another of my guys, but the new tank he is in, he is treated fine.

Do they like the taste, as they are nipping the body of the snail itself and not the shell? Is this snail going to be harrassed by all the girls I will be putting in there next week?

Yeah, two days, so hopefully she deals with it and gets over sharing all her space with a darned snail

Some find the "danglies" of the snail irresistable and go after them, and can actually bite pieces off. Keep your eyes on them, and if it gets too rough you need to remove the snails.

My betta bit my snail's feelers off. They grew back, but it wasn't a nice ordeal for the snail. I reccomend splitting them up.
