Thermometer

I bought a new thermometer today. Something like this except it's horizontal instead of vertical. Link

1. How do I read it? I see some yellow, tan and blue bars in iy.

The one that is a very different color from the rest is the one that is the present temperature. I do not find that kind very useful and prefer the red alcohol in a glass tube type, but to each his own.

I'll give this one a shot, bur I'll probablt just get one thay uses mercury.

I had one of them couldn't read it. It got stuck to my glass and it left a mark when i pulled it off.

The mercury ones are better and they last longer.

The marks can be removed with a razor scraping tool if you have a glass tank. It is what I do when I get a used small tank that someone has used a digital sticker on.
