I'm so excited, babies were mailed out yesterday (Monday)! I'm not sure if I'm getting 1 male and 1 female, or 2 females and a male. We'll find out ^^ Starting tomarrow, I'll be going home after school to make sure they are not sitting outside. I don't expect them today, unless they confused Priority and Express >_>

A question - If I'm not there when they deliver the package, will they leave it, or must I sign for it? I'm worried they'll get there in the morning, and I wont be home until 2 30 at the earliest. And if I have to go pick them up, I'm not even sure where! Just a bit worried ^^

And lasty, how long does cross-country Priority normally take? I'm guessing they'll be here on Thursday or Friday, but I'm not sure how long priority normally is... I hope they are here soon!

Katy - Will post updates and pictures as soon as they arrive.

When I got my beebees from Synirr and the IBC, the mailman knocked on the door to see if anyone was home. My Mom was for Synirr's beebees so she got them right away but the IBC ones were left on the front porch. Nothing had to be signed for either shipment. I believe priority is 2-3 days (I don't think they count the ship out date as a day) so hopefully you will get them by Thursday!

Prolly not.
If I was a shipper, I'd say ship any live thing at your own risk.
If you can prove that the box was dropped, put upside down, or mistreated in any way AND have proof that the animal died as a result of that, then I guess you could get your money back.
But if the animal just died, you'd still have to pay shipping....

I'm only paying 5 bucks, so not to concerned about refunds. Money would be the LAST of my concerns if my babies turned up dead.

They'll get there Wednesday at the earliest, and I wouldn't expect them to arrive any later than Friday... they'll probably leave the package. I sent you two females and a male :D

My postman asked that I leave a signed note for him to leave the package. That was Express and they are suppose to get a signature. If you are recieving a shipment from IBC they may ask that the package only be delivered in person. But most US postal people will leave a package if you ask. I have found that leaving a signed note works in most cases with deliveries. For guaranteed live deliveries, which are usually a minimum of USPS Express, the shipper wants proof that the parcel was recieved in person.

Well, someone else's experiences may be different.

*wiggles and writhes with excitement* I'll be staying home the rest of the week (excluding school) to wait for the buggers :) So excited!

Yeeey! All 3 bebies arrived safe and sound today! I came home to find the box happily resting in the shade. They are acclimating right now, so I just have bag photos ^_^ I'll post some more photos here and in the Synirr baby thread once they are out and moving! They are all very active and healthy, and by far the smallest betta's I've ever seen ^__^

Thank you so much Synirr! Best investment I've ever made, I love them so much already :) Those 2 females are going tolook TINY alone in a planted 10 gallon!

Congratulations!!

They are cutie pies. We are going to enjoy watching our spawn mates grow up.

The third one for sure has a face!

Picture time!

This is the girls floating in the community tank. I'm not lying to you when I say - Panther and Kaczy, the BIG girls in those photos, are small bettas. Now, assuming they are small, just try and imagine how small the bagged girls are :)

Here's the 10 gallon the two of them are in. Now, to get an idea of how small these fish are... I've circled the one I could fine :) This are SMALL babies!

(excuse the bad condition of the plants - I don't know what is wrong with them, but they are VERY unhealthy in that tank. I'm going to give them 2 more weeks, and replace them if they don't improve)

The two of them, hangin' out by the pot.

And here is the ubershiny girl ^^

And the little boy. He is quite the hunk, and wont stop flaring! Unfortunatly, he's in a tank where one side is very, very reflective. I'll be covoring it with knitting canvas so he stops flaring at the side and stressing himself out!

The boy's two-gallon tank, right by the girls His plants are doing a lot better than theirs

He is so brightly colored
