I love it! Vals are my favorite. I am planning an all val tank later. With italian, corkscrew, and pygmy. It is going to be on a much smaller scale though.
Your tank is looking great. :good:

Right after another day out with Dev and spending More.
We got some emersed Hair grass and i got a weird looking plant. Looks like parrots feather but with corkscrew red thick stems.
I also Got some Hygo. Which is already sending up new growth.

I also Added a Pair of Flagfish - they look very ugly and I like that.

I am Really Liking how this is turning out. the fish are more active and my Eels are loving the Ahir grass, as it gives them plenty of nooks and crannies to investigate for food. Watched him last night diving in/out of the hairgrass an hoovering up any bits of food he found.

I am still not sure about C02, as some people say that the strong Updraft created by teh Air curtain will be benfecial to the types of planting i have chosen - So far i am in agreement, as all the plants are growing well. and the Bulbs have already started to send out leaves.

Almost Finished with the planting.
Just some more Floating plants.
Have started adding Ferts now, as i like the air curtain and the extra circulation it provides.
Fish Stocking is almost Complete. Adding My Threadffin Rainbows and Pygmy Cories in Tommorrow and some more Shrimp and then thats it.

Sorry for the Reflection

Wow, that's lovely! It's pretty much the look i'm going for for my ten gallon Dwarf Puffer tank, only mine is obviously on a smaller scale. Really nice tank, well done.
All the best from Bill.

Looks nice Gill.
Is that Hemianthus callitrichoides along the front?

Thanks
Yep, got it from JamesC over on UKAPS

Thanks,
Done some replanting and moving some plants around.
Even saw my Peacock Eel out and about in the Hair grass rooting around in them.
Guess I know who has been uprooting plants now. Forgotten he/she was in there.

Little Update.

Added:
40 or so Coffee Bean Rasboras
20 Cherry Shrimp
4 Wood Shrimp
More Red Nose Shrimp
5 Hong Kong Plecs
3 different Species of Lined Pencil Fish - Soooooo Cooooool to watch gliding around like Sea horses.
Did add some more Female Rams, but they were killed by the males.

Added a another clump of Hair Grass and some other plant (Forgot the name Steve)
I do hardly any maintenance on it, just a water change and prune excess lilly pads.
