so gluing the plants doesn't harm the plant?  My intention is to have the plant remain living haha, but that does seem easier than using thread.

No, didn't harm the moss, can't imagine it would harm anything else either.

The superglue went white after I put it in the tank, then back to clear 2 days later.

The flame moss one looks great in my community tank.
