The Tea Lovers Thread

I like good tea. I'll use cheap tea bags, since they're better than nothing, but I love really good tea. I learned to love tea years ago in England, and I still drink most of my tea English style, with milk and sugar. This morning I'm drinking a good, strong CTC Assam--my favorite morning tea. I also really enjoy Yunnan teas in the morning, with milk and sugar. Occasionally I have some roasted Yerba Matte for something different.

In the afternoon, I usually have a cup of earl grey with milk and sugar or Nepal black tea with a touch of honey. The caffeine helps get me ready for my kindergarten classes. :) After supper in the evening, I often have a mug of chokecherry bark tea. Other than the bark, which I harvest locally, I get most of my tea from Upton Tea Imports. It's the best around in my experience. What about you?

A rooibos tea is nice too but that's from my childhood in South Africa where it's grown and pretty much the only tea you can get...or at least the only tea anyone wants to drink!

Yorkshire tea is good stuff. Just a bit hard to find in this part of the world. I never enjoyed rooibos. Something just tastes not quite right about it, to me. I hear it's good for you.

probably doesn’t count as tea, but I like iced chai:rofl: if I’m going to make a hot cup of tea, I like the fruit ones. Peach specifically is really nice! I don’t think the fruit ones are “real” tea though.

It's a weird one, I suppose it's got a floral taste to it? Naturally caffeine free and full of antioxidants so it's quite a healthy one

What if I said... I dont like tea! I'm sure I just havent had the right tea yet... I havent had cream and sugar tea or anything like that...

You teach kindergarten? Dang, I don’t like little kids. Taught high school for 13 years in California. Loved it!

TAZO Earl Grey, straight, hot

For iced tea, I prefer Luzianne

I started drinking Tea after years of drinking straight coffee (nothing in it).

I like hot green tea and found "Gunpowder" loose leaf tea to be my go to. I use a touch of agave and I'm good to go.
