The Story Of My Tanks....

ok here goes.
i move mr.swordtail to the 15 gallon and his nose is healing nicely.
He's really brightened up, especially his srtipe and his beauty can challenge a betta.
I got some melafix cuz it's the closest i could get. Bloody expensive here though, $49 EC which is about $15-$20 US.

My 4 babies are doing great and now i don't know where to put them. I don't think my 20 gallon can take 7 swordtails. I don't really want to separate males and females either. So i think i might just keep one and give away the rest. Although i would like to keep them  cuties. I'm wondering about the 15 gallon but i don't want too much inbreeding. Ideas?

That seems it for today.

All my fry are doing great. However mr.swordtail is still fishting internal infections. He's more lively but is still filcking on objects and had a split fin on the left.
My main tanks water is so clear today the tank looks empty. It's amazing.
I planning to do a makeover and have it well planted. Hopefully i'll have a camera by then.

Oh yeh, i almost forgot, how soon after birth can a mother swordtail be pregnant again, mine seems to have a big belly and gravid spot.

Straight away, as they store sperm for several months.

Plus if you have males they will always be pregnant, that's why they don't live that long due too having babies all the time, it takes it out of them, that's why they need a varied diet, good luck.
