HAHA YES IT IS A SHOT GLASS. I use it to add water treatment to the tank, to mix frozen blood worms with water, and crush pellets. my husband has a collection of shotglasses and I'm putting them to use.

I should have been taking shots when I was setting it up.

3 is the magic number. I took down my 20 gal cory tank and 10 Gal QT tank. Now I have just 3 tanks running and I must say it is a good amount. a 55 gal, 36 gal, 100 gal.

New up date. I'm selling my rescue Geo Brasiliensis to a guy that is setting up a 125 gal tank with oscars. She is getting a little fresh with my Severum and digs A LOT. So I saved her and found her a good home. This tank is going to be a Severum tank for the most part.

here is a photo of the tank yes the water is low sorry about that. I have another good size chunk of wood for the tank too. SO I will change things around again.

Well I sold the Pearl eatheater. I moved stuff around did a big wc and added the new severums. Everyone seems happy and they all are getting along. I think Nip my green severum is happy to have other severums around. I'm pretty my new severums are a male and female. Nip is a female so I will have 2 females one male. Seems like it could be a good mix. So far so good. We will see how things go as they grow up.

Mr pink the red severum is very out going and fits in very well. Little spot my notatus is a big more shy but she is out exploring now. Mr sparkle the ebjd does great with his severum tank mates they all seem to get a long great with a little bossing around normal fish stuff. So my tank is done and I'm happy with everything. It feels good to have your tanks all done and stocked. I will post more photos soon.

Here is the 100 gal. The plants look sad I almost killed my big sword but its growing back really fast thank god its the coolest plant. I'm going to add more plants and let the ones I almost killed grow in. BUT the wood and rocks are the way I want it.

MY EBJD 3" HE is really a really Dark blue. His color has Change a lot over the past few months.

Thanks am very happy with her she is growing up to be a beauty. I think she might be a mix of a differant Heros.

Stay tune for MY new fish a true Parrot Cichlid (Hoplarchus Psittacus). It is filling the place of my poor Notatus RIP such a tragic death. I'm done I have my dream fish. I hope they live to be 10 years or so then I will switch to SW.

Once the fish get bigger I might have to move them around. I really don't think Nip will be a big severum 7" max I think. She might have to move to a 55 gal when the H.Psittacus starts to get big. Or I might just need to get a 90 Gal to replace my 55 gal. I have about 2 years till any of them are over 9".

Playground sand from the hardware shop. you just have to wash it really really well.

I got my true parrot fish named kiwi. she is really cool. It's to bad My green severum Nip hates her. I getting sick of nip going after Kiwi for no reason. SO Nip is getting moved to the 55 gal where she will live with Cory cats, tetras, and a ram.

The other fish are great they are not a problem they are starting to except kiwi but Nip messes it up. my EBJD is the best he will be bossy to new fish but once he gets to know them he leaves them alone. Nip it getting moved tomorrow.

The stocking will be

1 EBJD 3"
1 Red severum 1.5"
1 wild Hoplarchus Psittacus 4"
3 Pictus Cats.

1 Green severum 4" ( being moved to the 55 gal )

I like a lightly stocked tank when I keep large fish. I might add some larger tetras but I don't know.

Here she is a little light color but should color up more once she is not being picked on so much.

I moved Nip to the 55 gal. She was just being such a jerk to the new fish they were lip locking every time nip saw kiwi she would chase into a cave. so poor kiwi would hide a lot. Well now that Nip has been move Kiwi is out swimming around happy not at all shy. They are all getting a long just fine. Nip is mad at me right now but thats what she gets for being a big bully.

I'm going to add more plants to the 100 gal try and make it look great.

Wow. What a fish Snowflake! That mouth makes him/her look like an evil pumpkin! How big will Kiwi get? Poor Nip, but really a 55 ain't so bad. All is well on this side of the lake. I want another BN... love that guy.

Haha yeah the bn plecos are great. Bristel my first one that's in the 36 gal is one of my fav fish. Kiwi could get to be over 12" but it will take over a year for her to get that big. She is named after my old parrot I had to give away when I had my daughter.

I don't think nip will be a big severum since she is a female. Yeah the 55 gal is fine for now but she is mad at me. I felt bad moving her but she was such a jerk. Now kiwi can swim with out fear.
