The Road to Recovery

I've heard you guys in the US complain about Walmart before but that is unreal!

Excellent job in rescuing them.

You should print those photos and take them to the shop (or post them to the chairman or something) !

Awww, thanks everyone! :*) :*) You're all way too sweet.

daza - Believe me, I've done all I can at Wal-Mart. When I first found them in the tanks, they got the scolding of a lifetime, I "talked" with one of the managers, and I actually did take pictures in to show them the intense changes that these females had undergone. Honestly, I haven't seen another female in the store, but that dosen't mean they aren't there...they are probably just hiding them as soon as they see me walk in the door. :p :hyper:

xbanditsx - It took a little Melafix, a very clean tank, and a lot of love. I honestly thought she was going to die...in fact, I was almost hoping for it for a while. :-( What you can't see in the pic, is that the Barbs had also taken a few chunks out of her sides as well. :-( For the first few days after I brought her home, all she did was either lay on the gravel or hang at the very top in the back corner hiding...she wouldn't eat and could barely swim. But then all of a sudden she started eating, and swimming better, and soon she was playing with the others...she healed pretty quickly after that.

And here are a few more pics I just took of them a few moments ago. Sorry about the glare and the waterspots. :*) Unfortunately this tank gets a bit of sunlight at this time of the day and everything just shows up on the glass. :*)

Me too, shrimpster97. They are great little tankmates. One is them is always close to another...they never go far without at least one of the others following right behind.
