The Pond That Quinton Built

I built this pond over a few days...it was alot of hard work but it was well worth it. I pleaced 6 Shybunkin Koi (Fancy Goldfish) in the pond and over 2 years (summer they were in the pond, winter in a large tank) I was very suprised to see that they had given birth! No pictures of the fish, sorry.

Nice pond quint! Like to hear how it goes along. Add some Hillstream loaches, I heard they're nice 'out-of-the-ordinary' fish for ponds. - POTM!

Looks like a nice jungleish subterrain around the pond, hope you built on it, I see something big coming out of this!

Thanks Eelzor i appreciate the feedback! The picture didnt fully load i see...I am going to try it again. A search for "koi" in google will show the type of fish i had. They grow very very big too! Start out as little cuites.

Just an FYI that I found very interesting. My sister lives in northern Ohio and has a pond with Koi in it. Well in the winter the pond freezes but in the spring the Koi are still alive, apparently they hibernate....I can't imagine that it freezes solid though or they couldn't possibly live???

Question - how do you get the pnd liner nice and neat in the corners (well - rounded corners anyway )

Any chance of some recent pics - i hear you've got a bit of snow there at the moment (my father in law is on Wolfe Island - and said its d*mn cold at the moment .... -21 celcius - or is he winding me up? )
