Im going to have lots of rocks, bogwood and plants with lots of hiding places so i think they should be ok!
What you recon one male one female gourami or two males?

Good> Angels like a bit of natural bogwood (makes it more acidic)

As for Gourami> The female may get harrassed a lot if just 1 of each. But also, if you get 2 Male the dominant one may bully other one. (?!?) I've got two Male RedHoneys and not too much bother, but known Dwarfs to be more 'chasy'.

Do you know about the Females being nowhere near as colourful as Males? (often a pale, dull colour)

I would not add guppies or a siamese fighter, very bad idea.

Guppys could attack / get attacked by the angelfish.
Betta WILL attack / get attacked by the angelfish

IMO since you have 4 angelfish you do not want to add to many more fish.

I think you should be get a nice school or corys (6+) and call it a day.

Corys are in my avatar by the way.

Then you'd have 4 large fish for the top and small ones for the bottom.

Couldn't agree more, the Angels are most likely going to nip at those fish.
