do you hear pinky and brain dicussing how to take of the world? mice are interesting to watch. i had rats once, they wernt pets though...

Lucky lucky mice indeed ! They are too cute  :kewlpics:

Wow - that's fab, my three girls (and babies) are currently packing their bags ready to come to yours, they've only got their 2ft tank

Cant wait til I borrow Kathy's camera, then I can show you my meeces. And wuffly babies (must add - I dont breed - one of the girls came to me pregnant).

More piccies please, I could look at your meeces all day - they are beautiful

They must feel like kings in their mansion! Very cute and what an awesome set-up for them!

awww theyre cute, i like badger best! :shout:

Just noticed they're on wood shavings though - no no for rodents as the phenols in the wood cause long term severe respiratory damage  I'd swap 'em onto some paper based bedding (Megazorb, Carefresh or 100% paper based cat litter, like Yesterday's News, Bob Martins or Biocatelet), or shredded cardboard bedding (Ecopetbed). Mine are on Aubiose hemp bedding, that's my favourite.

I've tried yesterdays news and those wood pellets
all make far too much noise when they are moving around.
given that the set up is above my bed head, noise has to be kept to a min.
I've not seen any of the others you mention in any petshop in my area
but will look into it.

You have mice above your bed???? Do you get any sleep??? We have mice in the loft n they drive me mad at night

I think it's fairly unlikely that you'll find Megazorb and Carefresh at most lps, but you can get an enoooooormous bag of Megazorb (a soft little paperball product with no noise factor in my opinion) through Bunny Mail for £13.49 inclusive of postage.

Pinky looks like the lab mice I work with....but I can see he and gang are much better off. What a complex they have! :)

they certainly are lucky little fellas, very cure, though Brain is the one for me (tooo cute for his own good).
