They just got old. They were between 3 and 5 years old and the last one lived a lot longer than I thought he would, because everything was going great until he decided to pick on the bigger fish and they decided the set him straight. Bye-bye Barbies.

For our 10 gallon, which we just got, I wanted to put some small fish in it, like some guppies and maybe a few swordtails. My husband wants neon tetras.


So, how many neon tetras do you think I can keep in a 10 gallon tank by themselves?

Are there any good tank mates for neon tetras?


We're not planning on getting fish for another couple of weeks--we keep going back and forth on what kind to get.

I am probably the only fish keeper in the world to NEVER have neon tetras

ive never had neons, they jsut dont fit in with big cichlids

i have no interest in them acually.. hehe

p.s the pic with the tiger barb, parrot etc in it, you have a yellow lab in with tiger barbs and gouramis??? no wonder ur tiger barbs are dead!! also, that barb in the pic is looking pretty ruff

Alright, so tonight I went out to buy a honey gourami and I came home with 3 platys and 2 black skirt tetras. Can I still put a honey gourami in anyway?
