This fine Easter weekend I took the family to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta, GA. A nice variety of exhibits. I was pleased to find tanks containing large shoals of cardinal (I think) tetras, rummy nosed tetras, rasboras, etc. Amazing to see how large they grow in a big enough tank. The whale shark tank is spectacular. There is also a large coral reef tank with a simulated wave breaking overhead, but it looked to me that the coral was in poor to non-existent condition. The reef fish looked good, though. You can decide for yourself - I spliced together from my phone footage. (It includes footage from the small tropical fish exhibits)

are there any big sharks with big teeth in the vid before I watch it? I have a bit of a phobia ...

Akasha - no big sharks other than the whale sharks, and they don't have big teeth. A few far away shots of 6 or 8 foot 'regular' sharks. In the last few frames of the video three sharks come across the screen like they are putting on a show...I had lucky timing.

okay thanks ...:D

I'm so glad I watched that ... I'm all chilled out now :)

Wish there was an aquarium near me

i know there's a sea life place in Birmingham but not sure how good it is

It's quite good, as I understand it.

There's one in Bristol, at the harbour, which won't be that far from you.
