So last night I gop to feed the Africans and turn the light off on them. then I go below and do the same thing to the 29 gallon. WEll in there is one of my Africans! I have no idea at all how he got in there. It was the freakist thing that has ever happened to me!

I know that I didnt put the fish in there, nor my mom or dad. I am positive my brother didnt either, though he did go down in the morning to turn on his fish light, said he turned mine on as well but the brat didnt, but he wasnt down there long enough to catch any fish.

But the oddest part of it was that it was my Melanochromis, which we dont know the exact type, but we think it is one of the more mildly aggressive ones, and it being in there proved the point. I dont know how long it was in there, but not a think was killed, and it was hiding in a cave when I saw it, so it must be shy of the corries and angelfish. Dont wory they are reallly tiny so the 29 is fine for them.

there is no way it would have been able to, and even if it did, it wouldnt be able to get in the tank, as it is directly below the 55.

no, he wasnt down long enough, and I do recall seeing it in the tank at 3 when I turned it on. I dont know if he was downstairs after that though.

I asked the brother, and said he didnt do it because he also has some fish in the tank, and he knew I would kill him if he did put it in there and it hurt the angel fish.

That IS weird :ninja: !
I think this is a case for the X files :hyper: B) 8) :hyper: !

Does anyone sleep walk in your house by any chance? maybe somone was sleep walking and decided to re-arraneg the tanks :D !
Other than that you could just have a very spooky fish :fish: ! maybe it was a ninja in a past life :ninja:
I mean, who knows what our fish get up to in our tanks at night :D

I have actually heard of fish jumping into the tank right underneath their tank. I've also heard of people actually seeing it happen.

So my guess? ... it did jump

there is no way it could have, the tanks are sealed shut, except for the littel area that the filtered water comes back in, but that has a very high current, and it cant even swim in that area.

Plus if it did jump, it would have fallen on the floor, as the tank is right below it, and it is 18 inches high, and the stand is only 19, making it only one inch apart, so there is barely any room for it to have made it underneath.
