Snowy, your rat pics always make me want one. Your earlier posts actually prompted me to look into a local rat rescue here in Phoenix. I'm strongly considering signing up to be a foster, after we move that is and I know what I have space-wise for a proper dog-and-cat-safe enclosure.

Wow MAM, it makes me really happy to covert someone over to liking rats, its not an easy thing to do. Theres's so many rat haters and people who are just un-educated about them, it makes it sad. I wouldn't choose a rat over any other rodent. They're so much more intelligent, more social and bonding to humans than most rodents I've dealt with in the rescue. I've never regretted owning them.
And MAM I'm sure I could get some more equally tempting shots for ya.
