Actually whiskerz you're not the first non-rat person to say she's cute. I have friends who don't like rats, but after they meet ours in person their opinions change and they can't stop holding them. )

She is so adorable!! I am a rat person I've kept rats since I was little althought I don't have any right now. I moved away from home and had to leave my little gray rat named possum behind. He's living with my mom. She breeds mice and has a couple other pet rats so he's happy. He's getting old now though he's a little over 2. Too bad rats and mice die so young.

Can I nominate picture number 1 for POTM?? I've never nominated a pet before so not sure how it works )

Trust me Paris is VERY good at looking cute for the camera. I could always take shots without the bars in the way.

To tell you the truth i used to despise their tails aswell(but i still liked rats) but i eventually got over it and their tails are cute after you see how they use them for balance and how they hold them up when they waddle around, lol. Our girls kinda use them like possums tail and wrap is around your finger when they feel they might fall. So cute.

I just realized you can see Rattikins(Paris's companion) in the back of the first picture. Weird i didn't notice before.

Such a cute little Squirt! I would have one if I didn't already have 4 hamsters. The whole downstairs is full of my critters. But I'd love to have a rat as cute as that!

sarah - I also thought it imitated her in jail too, lol! They are quite neat with their hands. They usually grab food with their hands, not their mouths. They're my well table mannered girls.

Snowy, your rat pics always make me want one. Your earlier posts actually prompted me to look into a local rat rescue here in Phoenix. I'm strongly considering signing up to be a foster, after we move that is and I know what I have space-wise for a proper dog-and-cat-safe enclosure.
