Is that like cottage cheese? (yuck)

Don't know about UK, but in much of the US there is just one type of lumpy cottage cheese, I don't care for it. I know in Russia et. al. there is a wide variety that is nothing like US Cottage Cheese.

Agree with the Anzacs when my wife an I used to do extended kayak trips we would cook up a batch before the trip. They were still edible after sitting two weeks in the hatches of the boats, though a bit more crumbly.

You have to be careful with areas like Canada that have large distances between communities. I live on Vancouver Island and my concept of biscuits has changed drastically since moving to the island because there is a large UK influence, so our biscuits are similar to the UK biscuits. But we also have biscuits like the Southern States.

Excuse me but I hate plain scones....give me a 4 cheese one any day, still warm straight from the oven and with butter melting into it....

Now that is out the way :p

Cream Crackers.....I often munch those dry when not feeling well

My favourite subject, biscuits 🤤 I honestly don't know if I have a favourite...maybe a Scottish shortbread, dunked in a coffee.

My parents were quite poor when we immigrated from South Africa to England and the only biscuits they could afford for us kids were custard creams and the humble but yummy bourbon biscuits. We were partial to a milk chocolate digestive and if we felt really flush, a hob nob or 2!

But I was spoilt for choice in South Africa where biscuits are concerned, too many to mention! Although I will give a shout out to the romany cremes, a delicious coconut chocolate sandwich biscuit that was just way too decadent for the kiddies!

I'm off now to look for a Viennesse Whirl 🤤🤤🤤
Hobnobs! Awww maaan Id had a few of those before they were even on sale in the shops!
I’d taken my car in to my mates garage to have an alarm fitted and a biscuit firms reps car was in as itd broken down. He gave my mate three packets as a thank you for him to share with the rest of the workers saying they’d never had such high hopes for a biscuit in his experience and asked us to try them and tell us what we thought. One biscuit each and my mate hid the three packets in his desk and the mechanics never got to see them.
The rep drove off and we finished the first packet before I drove off. Luvvvvverrrrrlllllyyyyyyy.
The arrival of the hobnob moved the UKs biscuit game to a whole new level.

Cheese scones are the devils work. I’d rather eat my own ears dipped in toilet water.

How about Wagon Wheels?

Love the jammy ones, hate the orange ones...
