Homemade Clotted Cream
Clotted cream is the essential companion to British scone. With a little time, it is so easy to make clotted cream at home!www.curiouscuisiniere.com
Have you ever been to the UK/ Cornwall?never heard of that in my life
ive never left the USHave you ever been to the UK/ Cornwall specifically?
I would imagine you only find traditional English afternoon tea in the UK.
Hobnobs! Awww maaan Id had a few of those before they were even on sale in the shops! My favourite subject, biscuits I honestly don't know if I have a favourite...maybe a Scottish shortbread, dunked in a coffee.
My parents were quite poor when we immigrated from South Africa to England and the only biscuits they could afford for us kids were custard creams and the humble but yummy bourbon biscuits. We were partial to a milk chocolate digestive and if we felt really flush, a hob nob or 2!
But I was spoilt for choice in South Africa where biscuits are concerned, too many to mention! Although I will give a shout out to the romany cremes, a delicious coconut chocolate sandwich biscuit that was just way too decadent for the kiddies!
I'm off now to look for a Viennesse Whirl
Cheese scones are the devils work. I’d rather eat my own ears dipped in toilet water.Excuse me but I hate plain scones....give me a 4 cheese one any day, still warm straight from the oven and with butter melting into it....
Now that is out the way
Cream Crackers.....I often munch those dry when not feeling well
They were great when theh were actually the size of a wagon wheel. How about Wagon Wheels?
Love the jammy ones, hate the orange ones...
