The Creepiest Thing Happened to Me This Morning (logical explanation)

I know this is a serious thread but I’m trying to imagine the dream where a dinosaur eats you that’s a tramadol dream if I’ve had one , I know certain dreams can mean things apparently. Depending on your emotions etc
Stress or food before bed usually get me. Cucumbers tbh make my dreams super crazy.

They were velociraptors chasing me through an amusement park. I made it out to the fun house(mirror hall) before I was toast😅. Also, was once eaten by Orca that lived in the carpet of my home. I tried to stay on the furniture but they knocked me off like a seal on an iceberg.

It's funny but not funny 😅

When you sleep, you do it in cycles that are about 90 minutes long. They are REM (rapid eye movement) cycles and is the brain's way of processing what has happened during the day. If you don't get enough sleep and enough REM cycles, you end up like me

When you are in a REM cycle, your body becomes paralyzed so you don't injure yourself. You might twitch occasionally but as a general rule you can't move until you get through that part of the REM cycle.

People with dogs often see this when the dog is asleep and dreaming. The dog's paws might be moving back and forth and they might be moving their lips and sometimes making funny noises, but the rest of their body remains still. This is where the animal is in REM paralysis sleep and are dreaming.

Certain foods can irritate the stomach and intestine and cause weird dreams. Cheese used to do my head in if I ate it after lunch time, but others foods can also do it. The combination of certain foods and watching certain movies can also trigger bad or unusual dreams. Stress can do it too.

You can control dreams and I used to dream of rescuing people in hostage situations and killing people. My friends used to joke about me being a sleeper agent. I put it down to being intolerant of dairy food. Who knows, maybe I am Secret Fishy, trained by the same department that made Secret Squirrel.

I have read about that. Its interesting what reactions humans have and what we do when we sleep

I experience the death in my dreams usually... Thats why I hate any nightmare I have... One time I had a dream where this man was chasing me through a house with a butcher knife. He kept chasing me and I hid behind a couch. He then looked over the couch and he raised the knife and then chopped me on my face. I felt a weird surge through my face and neck of numbing and then my sight (in the dream) went black but then the dream always restarts itself which is where I begin becoming conscious of me actually being in a dream. That time I was just about to get out the door and then he killed me... Yah its not fun having the same nightmare over and over until you wake up... Very very scary
Have you considered seeing a doctor about this? Sounds serious.

What’s the explanation for twitching in sleep? Like I’m not having any crazy dreams or anything, but on the plane ride back from Florida, my friends said I was twitching occasionally when I was sleeping.

LOL, you were dreaming of chasing rabbits and cats. Welcome to my world :)

But seriously. The twitching is where the body would naturally move (eg: running, jumping, etc), but because your brain paralyses the body when in REM sleep, you cannot move the major limbs. But sometimes there is still some movement in your hands or feet and they twitch.

The way I went into it though was not cool
