Ahh!

When I went to "A World Of Fish" the other day, I saw all these bettas I've never actully seen before! I mean, sure, I've seen em on here, but never in real life!
I was so tempted to return the Cichlids I just bought to and get a few more bowls and some awesome bettas!
I literally had to turn my head as I walked out the door, reasuring myself that cichlids are my True addiction.
I have 2 bettas, and really, thats enough for me.
I always take a peak when I'm at walmart, but my Local Walmart has been really moody lately.
First, there's these 2 shelves filled with bettas. Then their all gone for a few weeks, then they return!
Its not even the regular shipment every thursday.
Hmhmh...Me and OppositeArmour both go to the same walmart, and he's only corrected me once in saying there is no bettas in walmart.

When I see the people with 20+ bettas I think to myself, "geeze, when do they get the time to clean all those tanks/bowls!"

You went to "A World of Fish"?! Tell me were it is! My freind keeps on telling me about how great it is! You only live like five min away too. Oh ya, and give in the the betta, I already have!

tell me about it... my friend got a betta from walmart, thus began my addiction. the nearest walmart to me that sells them is about a half hour away. they had a sale on them. i drove all the way there on my day off to find that they had none left. i returned this weekend and asked the lady if they were getting anymore. yeah, in a week and a half she says... :grr:

It actully not that great.
Since its not a chain store, its pretty expansive. They have Crown tailed bettas for $7.99, I dunno if thats any good.
its a good stop for looking at, and seeing alll these fish you've never seen before (When I was there they had like 2 arowanas and a stingray for sale - didn't see the price)

Its also very un organized, especially when there more than 3 costomers in the store.
They have over 8,000 Gallons of tanks.

I dunno....If you like spending 45+ minuets in the car, go for it.
I'd recomend looking, but not buying. Petco is way cheaper and has a muh better warrenty.
But I dunno, if your going for bettas, its kind of cool.
When I was there they had like 40+ bettas on display.
There were some pretty cool ones. I didn't get a whole long time to look, because my friends were pushing me out the door...Its amazing how time flys when your in a fish store :look:
You only live like five min away too. Oh ya, and give in the the betta, I already have!
I dunno if I could give in on the betta. I need more time and money!

The HarMar petstore isnt a chain either but yet good. I dont' care about a 45 minute drive. They got Awronas! And cool bettas from the sound of it.

A World of Fishes had over 40 Bettas on Display?! Holy crap!!! I gotta go this weekend! I got the majority of my bettas from Forest Lake Pets. Its a good 40-45 minute drive, but its worth it. I also like their selection of fishes. Its better than World of Fishes IMO. But Last time I was at World of Fishes, back in late August, they had like 8 bettas out. Awesome. I wanna go and check it out now. WOOT! And HarMar Betta's aren't bad? I should probably stop there and check it out. Last time I only stopped for their tropical fish, which are really limited. So I didn't stop to look at Bettas for too long. Now I am ADDICTED to bettas and have to stop everywhere there are good bettas.

I love HarMar's bettas! They are teh best. I just bough two yesterday. One female, a browish yellow, with purple spots all over her head, and then a male, that has a silver body, with an orange head, and orange fins! Oh ya, and Marco, my CT, I got from their too.

Whoa, I definitely want to get some bettas from there if they are what I am looking for!!! Awesome. I am so excited to check out World of Fishes and HarMar...hehe. All this betta talk, I cant wait to head home on Thursday and get me some more bettas. haha.

What does IMO mean? And at this feeders supply in my area a few days ago I saw this maybe half a year old yellow and clear fin betta that his fins were so small that it looked so young. :)

Jeez, I was looking at your guys' profiles and my daughter is around your ages!!
Not that 33 is old or bad in any way, just older than you all ;)

Oh dear. I bought asnother betta.
I'm starting new thread, so look at it and comment!
