i was searching around for pics of fish on webshots.com and this came up, from my understanding it looks like the person is putting all the betta siblings from a spawn together and is seeing how long it is untill they kill eachother

how long do you think it will last?

As for how long they last, I'd say a few males might, but the females and the weaker males would be killed.

Well reading further he eventually put the males in floating isolation jars when he realized they had started fighting. I still think it was a pretty dumb idea.

Totally. I agreed with you. If he put into a pond, that will be another story! Make sure not in cool weather too. LOL
