just to let you know how things were going with my fish, he seems happy and healthy, although his lip is still the same, he is still feeding well.
i think it must have been an injury, can you tell me if it is ok to give my goldfish blood worms as a treat, im pretty new to the fish scene, so im still learning whats best for them but i did hear that they like blood worms.

Thanks no head swelling,They love bloodworms, brimestrimp, also mine love shelled peas, glad his lip is getting better poor thing, also mine love algae tablets to, they eat almost anything.

hi again, i got them the blood worms and like you said they loved them, when i bought them at the pet store they told me that i should give them the blood worms twice a week as a treat, i also bought some real plants for the tank, but i have noticed that the fish have started to stay at one side of the tank for the majority of the time, i thought it had something to do with the new plants so i have been changing the position of them to see if they move to different parts of the tank but they still insist on going to one side , do you have any idea what could be causing this??????????, they are swimming about in this side as normal, but its a big tank and they dont seem to be getting the benifit from it.

Mine seem to like one end of the tank better, wouldn't worry to much probably with changing things about.

maybe they can see the tv better from that side of the tank  i wouldnt worry about it mines 5ft in length (the tank)and it always looks like 2 thirds are empty, the only reason i can think of is if the filter output is too strong sometimes the fish dont like it ,other than that there like little chavs and hang around in the corners :hyper:
