What is this... I poetry battle?

He tackles a Canada Goose, steals a quill from the nasty beast and with his new pen, destroys a sword.
Battle?

Us?

You know there's no fishkeeping Bard,
To say to their friends, "well, on guard"
Let's load up the rhymers test kit,
Come Yank, Canuck, Aussie or Brit
Not one of us has a scorecard.

The Aquarist
This noble soul nurtured life
When those around engendered strife
With simple means and love for fish
Peace and knowledge were his wish
The fish lived well , returned his love
A gift of life come from above.

No Grasshopper. Not a battle. Homage to our finned friends.

Ah yes... That was really pleasant actually. Nice poetry.

I'm not good with fish poetry... I haven't really tried writing poems yet... Maybe I'll try it but it feels weird

Jill came down with half-a-crown
And now they’ve got a daughter.
