Tetratec Ex1200 Tube Diameter

Hi,

can anyone tell me the diameter of TT EX1200 tubing as i am unsure whether to get the Hydor external heater 200w or 300w version.

Thanks for the info, i would still like to know though, as i may get some lily pipes or external reactor etc.

Actually 15.2mm internal which is 0.6 inches

Out by 0.4 of a mm. That's not enough to cause problems really is it, and I could swear that it says 16mm ID in the manual

it is 15.6 mm as it is hard to get replacement tube without getting the 'proper' tetra stuff.

just altered one for a friend... eheim 16/22 tube fits just fine

Aye, as MikeOS says, the Eheim tube works fine. They do take metric rather than the more common i(n the UK) Imperial hose... Eheim and AquaOne are the only other two firms I know if that use the stuff. I like the filters themselves, but the supplied fittings (Inlet and outlet sets + the hoses) are a it naff...
