Tetratec Ex1200 Priming Issue

Hi,

I have a tetratec ex1200. After getting a new filter head I have found it impossible to get the filter to prime. On my old filter head (which was replaced due to leaking) it never had a problem priming, but now on the new one its impossible !
Can anyone help? I have tried to prime it with the button I used to do but sometimes it sticks (as I am trying it so much).
I have tried to prime it when the filter tank is full of water, half full or even empty. Still nothing is working ! I have never had this issue before and I've been using tetratec for years.
Any advice would be much appreicated !

Sounds like a leak in the new priming mechanism. Perhaps someone with experience will come along. Don't forget that sometimes new parts are faulty. With EC filters its always good to try some minor tilting and minor shaking vibrations to rearrange air bubbles, but I assume you've tried all that. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Yeh I'm starting to think it's faulty too ! Yeh I've tried to shake it a little. Nothing seems to work.
