Tetras growing hair??????

Hey all, I have a very, very wierd problem, four of my six black phantom tetras seem to have black thread like 'hair' type stuff growing under the orsal fin, they look like day old stubble and its really disgusting

I found out that my girlfriend had mixed up the cricket food I feed the crickets that my gecko eats, with the fish food. There doenst seem to be any ingriedients on the cricket food, but could there be something in it that could be causing the thread like things to grow?

I hope there is someone out there who can help, I know its not something you hear every day, but the cricket food really does look like fish pellets, and the Discus colours have been getting very intense... can anyone help me out here??

it may well have been april fools, but u cud have wasted alot of ppls time, time that cud have helped ppl who really had problems with their fish.
