Hi I recently bought one of these from a shop without doing any reasearch  . The shop advised they are fine if kept with medium fish. Since then done some googling and have read reports which say ambush predator which reaches 8 inches. it is curently about an inch and doesn't fin nip. I have 1 harlequin which I am waiting to die off, other than that it's house mates would be 2 x keyhole cichlids, 2 x firemouths, 5 x silver dollars a network catfish ( i think ) - synadontis anyway, a pangatheius and a pim pictus cat. Are these fish going to be in any danger and should I get rid of the puffer sooner rather than later? is it likely to acheive 8 inchs aswell/ Thanks

hmmm Neale may be better answering this. But puffs are extremely tempramental and buzz saws when it comes to eating things in their tanks. Most have a reputation of killing other fish even twice their size. The only ones I really know that are suitable to community is MBU and SAPs. Unsure of the humpback you have..
