Tetra Whisper 10i Internal Filter

Would you guys recommened this filter for my 5 1/2 gallon tank? Im on a really tight $10 budget.

The standard AGA 5.5g tank is 10" high
That filter is about 8" high

Just thought I'd put that in there.

It's ok though I would recommend the Elite stingray 5 filter instead though, I'v had both and put the whipser one away and am using the stingray as it's easier to maintain, better looking, takes up less room, quieter, and I think more effective. JMO

Thanks for the input guys I know that this isn't the best filter out there but like I said im on a really tight budget. When I bought the things for my big 55g my budget was $300 this is very different lol Otherwise I would've bought'ne an Eheim. But if its noisy that's not a problem for me, I have an Aquaclear 110 in my 55g and that is noisy even if I did attach an acrylic panel to it. But yeah I will look into that filter thanks

If you can find a Duetto Mini for around that price it would be a good alternative too. It's very flexible and you could mount it horizontally too, has flow control, and even built-in adjustible air injector.

Okay thanks man I'll look into it. And it doesn't have to be internal filter only, it can be any kind of filter

Also, I am looking to sell my chameleon "Weirdo". And I might have someone who will buy it. If so I could make $100 - $150 out of that and buy a better filter. Though I don't want to spend TOO much money on a filter for such a tiny tank.
