Tetra Staying at bottom of tank

My tank is always kept super clean with weekly water changes and trimming dead plants and removing all dirt etc.

Currently I do around a 30% water change would you suggest I do 50%? Also, should I do even even more than 50% at any point?
It really up to you and your fish load, i do 25% once a week but i also keep my tanks understocked have lots of plants and only feed like 3 times a week.
Only time i do larger water changes is if my daughter dumps all the food in at once;)

Hi All,

I added 4 Neon tetras and 4 Glowlight Tetras to my 240L tank about a week ago.

They all seem to hide in the bottom right corner of the tank next to a plant and haven't been swimming across the rest of it. They seem to all start moving around when food comes in then after eating go back to their usual spot. Attached a photo.

None of my other fish have been aggressive towards them or anything they're just left alone so not sure what the problem is?

My water parameters:
Temperature: 25.5 degrees
pH: 7.4
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20

Thanks for your help.
I like your substrate, what did you use?
