Tetra Ex700 Filter Is Leaking

Hi Mel, only just seen this update. Where have you read about that then ???? So are you saying that its the quick release bit that could be faulty and not the head at all ? great, Tetra are sending me just the motorhead i think ? Would be really greatful if you could send me the link so if i still get problems i will go back to tetra.

Mine has developed the same problem. Thought it was the large O seal, but have traced it to the hose adaptor. Turning this upside down you find 4 screws, remove them & the unit comes apart, revealing two more O seals. I suspect that is where my leak is. Can't stop it leaking, despite a thorough clean & vaseline. Typical that it happens on a bank holiday.

EDIT: I found this on the Tetra site CLICK where you can make an online warranty claim. There is also an online diagnosis page.
