what do they look like? slim clear stuff over eggs?

or are these snail eggs? just getting over a out break of snails...

anyways, was doing a water change yesterday and noticed slim covered eggs on leaves and corners of tank, could they maybe be tetra eggs? not sure, never seen them before.

any help would be great thanks.

thank you for the great read, i guess ive killed the eggs by now with the light being on all the time, maybe the fish will eat them now. maybe ill try to get some baby neon's soon, would be a fun experiment anyways.

What you describe sounds much more like snail eggs. Fish eggs are small discrete objects, not like the typical gelly/slimy blobs snails produce. Fish eggs lying around will be eaten, snail eggs tend to be protected by the slime.

oh no don't tell me that, i just got rid of a ton of snails already, there are a ton of the eggs with slime everywhere, im going to be infested again
