Testing water

hello everybody i have a question regarding the levels of PH in a water sample. You see my friends dad uses a electronic PH tester for his water purification machine ( drinking water ) will the ph level of the water degrade in transport ? u know i bring the water from my house to his house and then test for ph will it be ok ? thanks a lot the water might go on for a day since extracted from my aquarium before being tested for its level of PH thanks

should be okay. keep the water covered if you can....

Unless there's something that's put into the water to cause the ph to change, then it should stay the same. What are you transporting the water in?

in a small plastic container maybe ?havent dont it yet what should i use ?
