Has anyone tried test strips? I have not, but see them online.

No use for them, when you have a liquid test kit, IMO

Yes...and they were okay as a loose starter thingy. It was handy being able to get 5 different things tested for one strip; GH, KH, pH, Nitrite and Nitrate.
BUT I had to get a drop test for ammonia and decided this was more effective, so I got similar for nitrates and nitrites.
The little pads on the strip weren't of a consistent colour, when coloured. The edges of the pads might be tinted differently from the centres, so picking what colour they were wasn't as easy as it should've been.

I finds them useless , the only register to 10ppm the lowest I dip tested a strip and it read 10ppm no3 I used an api master kit it was 0.5ppm no3 huge difference
