Actually I think you should test every day during a cycle. In fact, I test twice a day during a fishless cycle! Once before adding the ammonia so I know where I was, and once after so I know where I'm at.Teelie said:I don't see the point in testing every day, even during a cycling. And the paramaters actually CAN change dramatically w/i the matter of a day... acutally w/i the matter of hours. When the nitrites start dropping, they drop to zero in a matter of hours (or less).
