alright i have tested tap water,tank water,and amonnia right out of the bottle tap water and tank water read the same at 1.0 but ammonia read nothing is this test kit wrong or am i losing my mind

Sounds like something went wrong. Tap water should be 0. I've never tested pure ammonia, would be afraid to mix the reagent with the ammonia but I would guess it would not read 0. I'd try the test again or bring water sample to LFS for them to test it. That would double check your test results.
