Do any test kits for Freshwater not work with Saltwater?

I use API liquid test kits for my FW tank and from what I can see there is no difference between API Freshwater the API Marine master kits other than that they have dropped the lower range pH test kit from the matine version.

i asked that same question, no reply yet tho.

i tested my ammonia test and it still came thru, tho cloudy white from the salt, dont know how accurate it is tho .

The nitrate kit is the same, but, there are different cards. pH should be the same. Nitrite should be the same. Ammonia cards are different but the test should work. SH
