Hi,

Can anybody recommend a liquid test kit for pond water on a website such as amazon? Or must I go instore somewhere to buy them?
A local 'garden/fish' centre tests water for free - will this be just as good?

My other question is what is the best way to stop water leaking from my pond? Waterproof paint hasn't done the trick - I lose a couple of inches of water per day which I just refill. I currently have about 10 gold fish in (about) 1 1/2m by 1 1/2m (circular) by 1/2 m (depth) - Is lining the pond the best option and just 'roughly' - how much would this cost?

Thanks.

The problem with relying on your fish shop for testing is; what if you have a problem when they're shut?

We normally recmommend the API master test kit; I'm sure they do a pond version as well, but the tests are all the same. They are usually plenty to choose from on Amazon or Ebay.

I'm not sure what to advise for your leaky pond. A liner may well do, but would probably need underlay as well, if your pond is concrete. Are you sure it's not 'wicking out' through a waterfall or something?
