Test Kit question

Hi! I have a quick question - can I use the same test kits for both FW and SW? Specifically, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.

Mine says for fresh ans salt water so i'd say yes.

Thanks! Mine don't say FW or SW or that you can't use them for one, so I figured they were the same tests but didn't know and thought I'd better double check before relying on them!

I just got the bottle tests from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, separate ones for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate and inside the boxes, there are separate color charts for FW & for SW. The testing process is the same, but apparently the salt can throw off the color a bit...

yeah, those are pretty good test kits, I don't really care for the
p.h. test though...I usually get sea test one.
