Planning ahead here as I can see the early sign of disagreements already.

My 2 male Firemouths are beginning to get the arse with each other. One being smaller will almost definately be the weaker.

One will have to go. Do you move the agressor or the victim?

Thanks Ash

it doesnt matter really.
what ever feels comfortabke for you

If the victim is taken out will the aggressor not find some else to beat up?

I would be more concerned for the lives of the rest of the fish in that tank, as the fish that are currently listed I see 2 juvie GTs not saying that you aren't planing on getting another tank for them alone, but if you aren't they will eventually shread your plants, and kill everything else in the tank. but to your question it really is personal choice because yes there is the chance that the bully will continue to take out his agression on some other fish but you have just as equal a chance of the FM that is taking the agression for now doing the same thing.

For some reason, whenever I move out an aggressive fish and leave the "Victim", the "Victim" will suddenly take charge and become the most aggressive fish in the tank. You may need some more hiding places in the tank, because it seems that this aggression will continue with either of the fighters taken out :/

Thanks. Haven't made my mind up which one to take back yet. Might even take both of them back.

ANd unfortuately the GTs will prob have to go the same way.

This is bound to happen when fish are chosen randomly in pairs. These types of new world cichlids are meant to go in pairs, but this is breeding pairs.

The green terrors are exactly that - you may not want them in the type of community you're doing. You may want to consider returning those, and buying more firemouths, this way a proper pair or two can form and you'll end up with cichlids that are actually compatible.
