Temperature Range For Ghost Shrimp

iv got some ghosties and i just realized i dontknow what temperature i should keep them at. what is the recomended range in which to keep them and what is the ideal temperature. i just got a heater and havent plugged it up yet. id like to know about my shrimp before i blast the temp. up to 80.

Most shrimp are very adaptable to temperature. I would stay above 60F and below 80F. 72F is good for most, but they'll be fine at 78F, which is what most tropical tanks stay at.

if they are glass or ghost shrimp from your local water ways they will usually tolerate temperatures between 5 & 30C. General tropical temps are fine for them and they will breed readily at around 24-26C.

thanks Colin. though i dont think they will last much longer. my baby senegal has been stalking them and im about to move my two new tiretrack eels to their tank.
