Temperature For Cardinals

Hey just wondering, what temperature should a 10G tank with cardinals in be???

I'm currently on 27C(80F) but they're keeping close to the heater?

27 degrees is fine, this is what temp i keep mine at. You have got the heater near the flow of the filter?

Yes it's slightly in front and to the side
